Exactly the same thing happened to my bosses Lexus, he was going down a country lane, when some nonce in a Mondeo comes screaming round the corner & goes straight into him, & puts him through a hedge & into a ditch!

Ripped the rear suspension clean off the car!

Don`t think the bloke was insured either, as he got out & ran off across the fields!
 
I dont mean to sound like a twat! and i aint having a go at any oneand its the last thing you want to here, but how is there so many mera's getting smashed? they handle mint and mine has never been sidways! or are they all so clean that every other twat hits us?
 
I guess it is just a spate of bad luck in this time of year, 2 of them (eviljonny and syms) were due to ice (dont know about this one or tla_gti).
 
I always drive like an old woman at this time of year! Just don't want my car to end up in a wall...although it did, but that was a parking incident :rolleyes: :P

Don't want to speculate really, but this one looks like it's been hit by something else on the back end.

lol what have you done? my mate has just left the hand brake off on his civic type-r it hit a wall at the corner very costly!

Had my car a week, went to the chip shop and someone boxed me in. Tried to get out of the space, but couldn't see the wall to my left...left wing got scraped up the side. Dented it and royally scratched the bumper, as well as breaking the indicator. Was too embarassed to stop so drove off with my indicator hanging out... :O

Wasn't too bad on closer inspection but cost me £220 to get it fixed, as well as filling the bumper myself. Can't tell it was ever done now, bloke did a really good job on matching the paint...no one will ever know :rolleyes: ;)

Most expensive fish and chips I've ever had! :P Bad luck bout your mates type-r!

real shame that. was a right minter. on the bright side, unlike a lot of cars it's sorta being given a 2nd chance at life :D.
 
Does anyone know what happend to this car after 24 brought the shell and engine off me?
this blue one i have now is not a touch on my first black one :( think i prefer the black one smashed up to this one lol
