New looking for a GTI

Thanks mate yeah ive seen it on ebay but im really looking for one I can just jump in and drive, ive got my hands full with my other cars.

Yep completely understand. I havent put it in for it's MOT this year so honestly have no idea what needs doing. Its probably not much but still its nice to have one which just works with a long MOT. hence the price.

Does anyone know what this should be worth? I'm hoping for £400 to put a deposit on another car. Is that about right to tell people who are inquiring? I feel a bit in the dark with the price. Seems half the price of what it would go for with MOT so that's where i plucked £400 from.
 
Reason why i said scrap money is because i would have used your's for an engine conversion and took all the bit's etc and scrapped the shell.
It's a tough one what your's would be worth! "snapped bolt in the head" rust, mot, blah blah blah and this side of christmas money is defiantely an issue for me. sometimes, i wish i had just tied a knot in me prick, then i wouldn't have to spend all me money on the kid's.

IMO around the £300 to £400 mark to the right person
 
How much "get in and drive do u want"
Be hard pushed finding a gti without at least a few issues to fix.

willing to pay up to 1k for a GTI with long mot, little in the way of rust problems and no real faults. ive got 3 modified cars, astra vxr, nova gsi and starlet turbo all require my time and money. The almera is to replace a corolla that we use to run around in so standard and good general order are whats needed.
 
i have one for sale on ebay.drive it away today 850.00 ono im proberley to far away from you.Down in deepest darkest Devon.
 
This car has served us really well in 12 years of ownership giving us no prob's at all ,still luv to drive it Great car's.
