having large rims and very wide tires on a small engine car will down the mileage quite a bit.

the difference for me when i switch between my winter tires (175 wide) to summer tires (215 wide) is about 26% increase in fuel consumption on my 1.6.

worth thinking about.

but if you think your 1.4 i running a bit rich, be sure to clean your lambda. it might be very dirty and give a wrong reading, and that can increase your fuel consumption quite a bit.

I got 321 from my last GTi tank! :o I keep going for about 20 miles after the light comes on though, since I tend to put about 44 litres in at a time...

I think 2000 hp from a modded SR20 would be possible...

Albeit you'd have to throw 100 grand at the fecker and run it on nitromethane and it'd last for maybe 5 seconds...but it could be done.

Several years ago it was thought of as ludacris to get over a 1000 HP from a B16 Honda engine. There are now several!

As said before...it all comes down to money, and due to the fact that most professional drag racers in the U.S. have big sponsorship from big companies, they don't have to worry about funding or reliablility issues!

Cheers

Dave

P.S. Don't wanna cause any trouble, but anything is possible when enough money is used!

There is a 200sx running 8's in Australia!
