newbie with import almera

Im not fan of the silver wipers so will be getting them done in black, and is there anyways to get the rear wiper to sit in a down position rather than up when not in use?? if not think i will be dewipering it!
 
Yes it's a pretty common modification to replace the rear wiper with a punto one and have it sit horizontal :) if you sign up to be a member there's a how to guide on it :)
 
Yep its a simple job, search for wiper relocation I'm sure there's a thread, you can also do a swap for a punto wiper at the same time as the relocation and it'll look a lot better ;)

Doh corbs beat me to it, I'm sure there a thread that you can see as an unpaid member, as I never got round to joining

Yes, there's afew ways of de-restricting them....But with 140bhp. I wouldn't rush.
 
i wasnt going to get it unrestricted.

i bought the car as a runabout but more i drive it the more im liking it.

The air con is ice cold, its really smooth to drive, feels really responsive on accelerating, braking and cornering. Im really impressed with the car, its not no were near as powerful as my 306 s16 but its a completely better car to drive with no problems :)
 
If its got a 120mph speedo face, its likely to still be restricted. Its a cheapskate way of passing the MOT.
