as mentioned earlier it is a Micra....and no it ain't photoshopped....tis his project car....some of youse may have spotted it at JAE last year...prolly some different colours then though....

That brings back memories of when my Grandad used to own a bright yellow Datsun Cherry - early 80's :D
 
the e15t has already been done in a micra.....

And this is my good mate wayne who is rather insane! lol
 
i know a lad who slapped a GA16 into his gf's mk2 facelift yellow micra lol.
bog standard but goes like stink ! :D

All the stuff I used came from Nissan Japan Direct. These cars were built as a one off and never went into production. Far as I can remember I think 20 were built but never found out if they were sold off or crushed.
 
the ga16 comes in both the almera and primera. so erm. thats what it has to do with it lol
just out and about gatherig bits and bobs of info from were ever i can

though mine comes out of a primera. the same lump was used in the 1.6 almera's aswell.

and no it aint photoshopped. and again will be another colour once JAE is here again. but hopefully be the colour it is ment t be for DOnny. hopefully

and since this is the state of play at the moment i have some work to do

ps. i used the k11 hubs which are a direct fitment across to the k10 suspension setup. in turn this also allows u to then do the big brake conversion i did. i have uprated and running on k11 brake system at the moment but have gti-r calipers etc that are going on. once the engine is in(i dont wanna over brake it just yet
for the driveshafts you require

2 x long k11 shaft
1 x k11 short shaft
2 x ga16 long shaft


what u then do is:

knock the end of the ga16 (box ends) off.
you use the long shafts box ends as these are fixed to the shaft on a bearing setup that u can replace them. were as the short shaft is still on a bearing but is a caged setup (alot harder to sort out)
then knock the k11 box ends of the shafts.

then simply knock the ga16 box ends onto the k11 shafts.

leaving you with shafts that are at the correct length, with ga16 box ends to fit into the box and k11 hub ends to fit into the rolling setup of the k11 :D

easy eh :eek:
