Sleeper for the win, I was planning on removing rear handles and door locks etc, but as the car's not really worth anything, that amount of work is not really justified. At the moment I'm throwing all my time and money at the engine, as I'll probably end up swapping it into a clean GTi at some point in the future, whenever this shell has seen its day :)

Yeah i agree with you there, spending money on the engine is a good option as like you say you can drop it into a mint gti phase 2 shell..

Best to mod the engine right up, see a good 200 bhp at least - keep out side standard then at the lights when good old mr saxo comes up beside ya --- smoke the fuc**r and leave him for dust :D
 
I'm actually aiming pretty high, aiming for 260/280 ish :)
Dunno how far I'll get with the parts I've got, but I'll see how far Jez at horsham developments can push it safely when I get it mapped up.

I just want it looking clean and low outside :)

I did buy Phase 2 GTi bumper, rear splitter and Phase 1 skirts, but I can't be bothered with all that now..
You don't see the bodykits etc when you're hammering it round the track :)
