wow, they look great. How long did it take and what paint did you use?

I reckon you should make a 'HOW TO' thread :D

I rubbed the spokes down with about 600 or 800 grade paper, used it wet(doing this keeps the paper clean and stops it gouging rather than a even finsh ) just rubbed them enough tilll it was keyed(so it looks all dull)
cleaned the wheels with thinners then masked the outside rim off with masking tape
then just sprayed the wheels using about 6 cans of normal black spray paint, could of gotton away with 3 or 4 but I just kept painting lol
could do with giving them a light rub down and G3 to make them all smooth as the sides of the spokes are a little rough but the fronts of the spokes dried fine

looks good mate, like a new pair of alloys but only for much less

theres a few people say that areosol paint gets attacked by brake dust and can eat it away, so I make sure I clean them regualry(like once a week) and i dont use alloy wheel cleaner either(not that I ever use it anyway)

Looks really nice in the photos mate, you got on the case really fast too!

Think you need some new brake discs though!

I make the indicator things when I can be bothered, I did say I was getting some one else to make them so I wouldnt get hassled for them but got hassled anyway
dunno how low really on these coilovers, but I cant fit a finger in any arch so low enough

Right- so just clean the wheels with soap and water and plenty of elbow grease?

Next question- the crome lip is all scratched and coming away, any way of fixing it up?

Could you not get some heavy duty laquer (spelling?) and use that to protect you wheels? That way you might not have to wash them quite so oftena dn worry about corrosion of the paint. Can't see it costing too much, although i may be wrong

clean them once a week and it'll not take any effort really, only way to fix the lip would be to rub it down and respray it

Ive never heard of anything like that, but Ive never asked about it either, might be worth asking in a paint supplies

hhhhhhhmmmmmm.

Well it all went well with taping off everything to make my wheels black. I reckon I got LAZY cos it turned out nice. Tried painting my lips chrome....
