Pulsar VZ-R N1 in Ireland

lol! yea i'll look after it! but seriously, if its a ok if it was a northern car then buy it an register it in the north and then bring it over.

I dunno, the DVLA website is a ruddy nightmare, I keep going round in circles. Do you know anyone who has bought a car in Ireland and uses it in N Ireland?

We should campaign for the DVLA website to be grafted over by the Plain English Campaignists...

Having to try to translate your own language is pretty fucking dire in this day and age if you ask me

I was looking into this as well and im not too sure. I live in the north of ireland and know people who have brought cars over but don't know about the VZR as i think it is the same as England.

The only way to legally get it into the UK would be to wait till it is 10 years old then get a SVA test done.

so it looks like theres only one solution then...
move to ireland and drive it here! :D lol

could you do what tall paul said and put it down as an imported sri almera???

No - it says you only need an MOT for motors either 10 years old or older

You only need an SVA for a car 9 years old or younger...

Judging by whats been posted here and elsewhere

does anybody Know the milage on this one i'm torn between this and a 00 one at the moment the orange interior is classic

Has anyone got a Series 2 VZR N1?

What i was gonna do is borrow someone's chassis number and see if the MOMO steering wheel, Orange Interior and Lightweight ENKEI alloy wheels are still available

Anyone lucky enough to have one? PM me please

I'd go for the 1999 one. Better spec, the 00 one is standard afaik! Better value for money

i still dont think that 00 is an N1..be good if we could get thechassi number to check it..from what ive found the n1's were last made in 98..there could be a 99 one registered..but a 00 is very doubtful.as far as the normal vzr goes the goes the other 00 i seen had the same spec as mine...nismo exhaust, full nismo suspension shocks and springs maybe these were a factory option??
has anyone got interior pics of that 00 lucino vzr?

i reckon nismo stuff was a dealer upgrade or something, similar to the add-on packs you can get with cars most sports car? the N1 looks to be an Autech thing, going from the Autech history site. where nissan produced the VZR and then Autech made the N1

her ya go i e-mailed him and he sent me these a few weeks ago. I rang him yesterday to go see her but she was only being picked up from the docks so he should have her today.

be careful is all im saying.....
theres nothing from those pics that make me think its an N1..could just be a red rocker cover...the obvious differnce is that they have 8 injectors..4 on the top and 4 on the bottom..it should have an orange interior but this could be only the pulsars and not the Lucino..that fact that it was 00 it would of had to have been made to order because the manufacturing run ended in 98..from what i know anyway..it should redline higher..if you can bring someone with a stanard vzr to compare differnces..you could end up paying 12-13k for a stanrard 00 vzr.

Rang him again today, the car is still in the docks not let out till monday now and I can't get down to see her till next friday because of work she'll probably be sold damn it. I quiered him on the injectors and he said there is eight and she is genuine, and the engine was not put in a standard vzr as she was grade 4 and if that was done then she would not be grade 4 but grade R1 modified. she has no electrics either. i'd say she's a genuine one. she could also have been kept and registered late to increase her value or somethin but in another thread here someone posted information that 300 lucino's were also built so who knows when they stopped making them.

If she doesn't have electrics she's a race spec so it won't have the orange interior. Well it shouldn't anyway.
