quick question

does a nissan primera slx have a GA16DE engine. Im onto a fella about one all i need is the engine. He said it had a ga16 engine he probably doesnt know much about it so i said id ask here does it have a ga16de engine?

you sure? cos the plate on his yoke just says GA16. My yoke says GA16 (DE).

Well if it has fuel injection and twin cams then its a DE

Ah you have the import GA15(maybe)DE. Does yours have some form of VTC? I don't know alot about the engines but your's is deifinitely quicker than a UK GA16DE.

Mines a GA16DE quick as fuck, well it was till the engine blew in it. havin a hard time finding the same engine.so the engine i showed is no good no

I couldn't tell you about block differences. The head must be different though. I'll wait for the resident RAJackson GA16DE master to come along and tell all.

That is the VTC version, it's got more power because of more cammage IIRC.
