spotted DBull's micra on web

BFG Goodrich Drag Radials 275/50/15

Never got a chance to use them and then sold them on...wish I had kept them now for the Almera.

How did you find the drive with the toyo 225/50/15?

Thinking about getting some myself as price isnt too different to 205/55/15

 i appriate that, just wondering what the drive was like in general with them

ed. your an idiot to even consider spending more than TWICE the price of 195/50 tires to try and gain time.

yeah. you MIGHT get a better launch. but you will lose T.V as there is more rolling drag.

better start but you will lose time the rest of the QM

and those arent toyo T1R's they are R888's

different tires completely so he cannot give you any useful information on how your car will be.

end of rant

Firstly i never said that was my aim to gain 1/4 mile time, and the comparison for me wasnt 195/50/15 to 225/50/15 but 205/55/15...

I know 195/50/15 are cheapp.. but against wasnt my point

Ohh doo we love u Ross

lol I know what Ross is saying it's just tact isnt his middle name .

225 on the front for the street is only ok if you're running 280hp or something imo.

Th3k3ymast3r used 225/50/15s for a short time with no issues, I'm using 225/35/18 with little problems (but I removed the front section of the arch liners), my 'Mera's slammed to the floor and they were near enough the same rolling radius.
I'll be getting 235/30/18s next but they're only available as T1Rs. I can't imagine chunky rubber would be a problem for everyday motorway driving but it sure ain't great for cornering.

How did Th3k3ymast3r find running 225/50/15 as a dailiy driver

I know raceworks ran 245's but thats limit for Almera arches... looking for a middle groud 225 ;)

my front arch liners are eaten from the front wheel getting hungry.. so dont need to worry about taking them off
