spotted DBull's micra on web

Well i was wanting better arch fill and get mint tyres all around so was gona be 205/55/15 Toyo's all around then i saw that and realised hey 225's fit on fine.. and then noticed they not much more then 205/55/15 .. so thought why not

Higher end limit of grip, saftey measure.. and also again fill out ya arches abit better not my fault nissan made such huge arches that beg to be filled

Man the car's already in the clouds.. Don't jack it up any more by adding rubber rings..
You DO NOT NEED that much rubber man.. Trustttt.
I got a 2.3s 60ft time on FUCKED, odd, 185/45's. ;)
Plus it'll corner like shit as previously mentioned.
Joe

225/50 will have a huge sidewall = more flex + more rotational mass... a lot more. Performance fail in my eyes.

you probably need an afpr, 3" system, oil cooler, roll cage, 4 pot brakes and some fia rigid hardcore buckets too, then you'll be overprepared in every way :) :P:lol:

If you really wanted to fill the arches the biggest you can go are 215/35 on 19"s but if you did that you'd struggle to lower the car more than 40mm + I'd think you'd get a lot of stick from most people on here.

Sorry Paul F but your pictures are the only ones I could find on 19"s

Back on the subject of Dave, how did your Micra pass its' MOT with the tires going beyond the arches anyway?

It had custom wings on the front, and was right on the limit on the rear...

Just for the record, I ran my best NA time of 13.97 on a 195 wide tyre.

Those arches are FILLED!!
The P1 non-GTi front splitter colourcoded looks great IMO..

225/45/17 slamed on coilovers only catch is from the little bulge on the back arch liner..

Speedo now perfect. Yes acceleration has sufferd slightly. But corners great lovely and comfey on the motorway.. Looks perfect..

How did Th3k3ymast3r find running 225/50/15 as a dailiy driver

I know raceworks ran 245's but thats limit for Almera arches... looking for a middle groud 225 ;)

my front arch liners are eaten from the front wheel getting hungry.. so dont need to worry about taking them off

I think you'll find that was in reference to my wife K12 daily runner. It looked like a space buggy and bounced alot. Certainly filled out the arches unfortunately, don't have a pic for reference.

Had to remove them last MOT, failed as the rubber protruded beyond the chassis. Oddly they replaced with some 195s but the rubber still stick out and passed?!
