there is a guy selling one for £350 I don't think he knows what it is. I might pick it up this Sunday. I had a look at wez's car but there is too many pages.
 
theres no way to tell what it is just by looking at a picture of the valve cover :roll:
 
rich12885 posted about leathers and I seen that the car had that engine in I was going to get it if I could borrow the funds but I can't. I am not sure if he knows what it is I was going to knock him down a bit or buy the ECU and loom off him as well. but as I can't borrow the funds I might as well advertise it to a club member as he only wants £350 for it

Just to confirm he wants £350 for the engine complete or wants £350 for the whole car?

Come on Darren, there are quite a few threads covering this, and more recently with people looking in VE stuff. You disappoint me with your lack of searching.
 
Like sam says, that's a SR20DE with a VE VC. Buy the engine and I'll give you £30 for that VC.

I wanted a answer straight away. and as sams said its just a rocker cover as there are no VE solenoids. I thought it was a SR16VE but if sams never said I would of brought it thinking its a VE but its not its a SR20DE with a Rocker cover. im sure that loads of people never spotted that it never had VE Solenoids and thought it was a SR16VE

my knowledge with SR's are not that great to be honest. I was pretty sure they were the same bore but was not sure want wanted a answer

The SR16 and and SR20 Blocks, what hes saying is he didnt know if they had the same bore. If they didnt, then the heads wouldnt be interchangable.
