Strut brace help???

does any one know if p2 gti front and rear strut braces, will fit on to a p1 SRI???

yeah but one of the top mounts has to be used from a gti or missed out entirely

Front - Standard SRi suspension means that you have to hacksaw out one of the mounting points.
Rear - Possible. The car must have the holes in the boot and the screw fittings to put the strut brace in.
For example:
Sprint's Si - Has the holes and the screw fittings
My SRi - has the holes but no screw fittings
Tommo's Si - has neither, just a blank plate

All of them are phase 1's too!

it can be got around...

the inner bolt is often not long enough on the suspension hat..

if you find you havent got captive nuts in the holes in the back then let me know as i wrote a tech article as to how to install them a while back.

just need longer bolts in the inner fixing point on the strut brace, no trimming required
