Suspension Help!

I have been tempted to get new shocks myself before i put the springs on. But unsure what to do yet like. Spax hav always been a budget brand and you get what you pay for. Go for apex i wud.

If that's right Paul then that's best. My H&Rs were 35mm all round and it sat near perfect. Higher at the rear would have looked rubbish.

 good point Steven. But I would have thought H&R would have designed the spring rates for just this? They were specifically for the diesel and thus give a 35mm drop whatever. So a 35mm designed drop on a petrol should still drop... yeah you guessed it... 35mm .

my brother is now running apex springs quoted 35mm drop

They've finally arrived ! After a delay in sending them & then another delay with the postal strike, it's taken nearly 2 weeks to get them. Good job I wasn't in a hurry ! So I now have a set of 35 mm lowering springs by Apex & a set of Excel G's to be fitted in the spring. No point in fitting them now as the winter's arriving, they'd just get wrecked by salt.
