Tow bar on N15 gti?

So all being well ill be getting my old gti back i have been offered a tow bar which im needing to mount a cycle rack on.
The tow bar is from a 1400 im guessing only issue ill have is the bumper will need cutting slightly? if so has anyone got pics of how much thanks?
 
What model is that, Dan? I’m guessing a bodykitted P1 GTi? I want to avoid butchering a GTi P2 b/kit. I only need to tow 200kg max, lights not required, and as cheap as pos. I started a separate thread here. I didn’t see this thread.

Sorry not been about yes it is a kitted phase 1 gti and we have towed a large 4 birth caravan with it no problems, however now it has lowering /sport springs it is a bit bouncy when towing but shouldnt be a prob with 200kg. You could prob get 1 made bending it under the bumper, this would look ugly but could be removable when not in use.
