Treated myself to a full Alpine ICE setup

Done some more today...

Removed the 6.5" speakers in the rear and fitted my new Alpines. Wired them both up and tucked all the cables away behind/under the carpets etc.

The 6.5" Alpines are FAR superior to the 6x9" Clarions... the punch and clarity are both much much more refined.

Also removed the front door cards and started planning the install the for 6.5" components - at this stage i'm planning to fit both the mids and tweeters in the factory locations... but i'll be modifying the A-Pillar to accomodate the much larger tweeter.

Still got to do the Dynamat and decide where to place the crossovers...

I was going to do that, much like Andrew Smith's but as i'm now going to put the tweeter in the A-Pillar i don't want to have to route cable into the door for the crossover and then back out for the tweeter... so i'm going to install the crossover inside the car, possibly under the dash/glovebox area.
