Turbo Oil feed question

am i right in thinking this will create a t-piece at the oil pressure switch, meaning you can run an oil feed to a turbo??

Our single fitting has the correct male end to mate with the factory oil sensor port on your engine block (Male 1/8 BSP). On the opposite end is the correct female end to accept the factory sensor (Female 1/8 BSP). On the side of the fitting is the oil take-off port, where you can install any 1/8 NPT fitting for feeding your turbo or oil gauge!

I am right in thinking the almera oil pressure switch is 1/8BSP ??

could someone confirm this will fit??

thanks

could someone also confirm the oil filter thread is 3/4"??

That`ll be fine. Brass one have been known to break, so stainless ones are best.

Oil return goes to a blank on the block ( where the GTI-R one is from factory ). Dont return it to the sump like honda boys do, it doesn`t work with the sr20 sump design.

thanks mate, im trying to stick with the gti-r design as much as possible:

so far i've baught:

manifold
t28 turbo
trust g-reddy adjustable blow off valve
sandwich plate
adapter for oil pressure switch.

and so far i know:

where to get my oil feed
where to put my oil return
where to put my water feed
where to put my water return

need a bit of help finding a place to make the hoses for me though!! Anyone know of any places??

thanks for any help in advance!!

i don't really wana buy a turbo kit, wana do it all my self, measure it all up, get the part's myself, feel like i've achieved something. Thanks for the link though, im going to ring them, ask if they could make me some custom hoses.

No-one know of anyone in the u.k though?? That can custom make me some to my spec??

Come on dale, share your secrets :P

"""Steel Braided oil feed line for t25, and gt garrett turbos on to sr20de motors with inline restrictor - $79"""

Check my link stupid.. :p

2nd from the bottom on the Right hand side...

Its not just turbo kits.. they do all the componants to..

but i imagine with them kit's they have the water return and water feed going into the engine block? my water feed/return will be from somewhere different

just a quick question why does the sump not alow the oil return to be feed there ???????

im using a company similar to pirtek, but im us8ing a company based in the north east, i forgot what they are called.

Just gotta leave the turbo on the block and put it on an engine stand, and they will do the rest, even come out to my garage, supply all the fitting's and make them there and then :) just saving the old pennies at the min :) - some hydraulic specialist

It's actually a tapered (BSPT) thread on the Nissans which seals on the threads. A BSP fitting uses a soft washer to seal. But we discussed this fitting on SR20forum and someone said it was actually a BSPT thread on the male portion.
