Cheap i thought i used to have the T1-S ages ago and they were great. not used the T1-R anyone used them?

wrong size. 3,4 % less than stock diameter. your speedo will be showing inacurate speed.
30 mph on clocks - 29 real
60 mph clocks - 58 real
90 mph - 87 real

all this added to factory difference in scaling will cause you using higher revs and more petrol.

I've got 195/45/17 on mine and even though they're 2 % bigger than 195/55/15 I still read lower speeds on sat nav than on the clocks.

So i assume the Autech would have a different percentage difference as i am sure Alan said the came with 50's on his Autech and i have seen a few people use them

If my speed is reading slow then it can be a good thing wont get caught out at speed cameras.

i on 205/40/17 that good or bad. are those tyres any good in wet cos ine are sheit

thats the ones i'm gonna buy, probly the same seller.

tbh the difference in tyre size is not gonna make a HUUGE difference...

that thing about satnavs reading lower then speedos is not really a good way to judge speed, my sat nav is always 3-4 mph slower then all the cars i drive, one of which being a new standard car.

blackgti, all cars are inaccurate out of the factory to stop people speeding etc.

I have toyo t1-rs on the front of mine, amazing in the dry but they can be a bit tempermental in the wet, wheels skip quite easily, even on my 14 lol

they are great tyres at a great price Garnz...

thats a defo good find!!...

i am running these all round at the moment, brilliant in the dry and above average in the wet, but if your flying round in the wet your asking for trouble anyway.....

CHEAP!

I'll be buying T1r's for the GTi, in 55 profile. 50's won't fill the arch as much and be less comfortable on the road. They'll handle better than 55's tho.

Not true. Yes some come out of the factory set off, all Nissans are/were but time and wear doesn't help matters.

My Almera was 5mph too fast whereas my Civic is bang on.

i have these all round on mine, got them fitted the day b4 jae last year and to be honest they are great in the dry but do not perform well in the wet,i paid about £160 for mine delivered

got these on mine, impressive in teh dry but very slippery in wet.

great price though.

fancy getting a new set as having the car sitting on tyres for a year cant be good :/

They are all out from a certain year. I questioned this on my Rover and it turns out they were told to have the clocks read slightly higher, unknown on details, year etc but heard and read it plenty of times.

The faster you go, the further out the clocks are.
