Alloys for P1 GTi
Hi, I bought an Almera for trackdays and have been messing about with tyres etc. The biggest I can fit on the front is 225 45 17 any bigger and they hit the spring cup. 215 40 17 is probably a good kind of size. Be careful of the offset on the wheels, as they vary and 10mm different offset and they won't fit under the springs. If you want to see if wheels for sale on ebay stand a chance of fitting, look up nice-wheels.co.uk and you can see the stud patterns etc Nissan Almera pre 2000 is 4 stud 100 pcd, some alloys will need spigot rings to pack out the hubs or machining to get clearance. Almeras are 59.1mm bore ie the hole in the centre.
By the way if you stick big tyres on the car will tramline badly and follow lines in the road etc but it is worth it for the wicked grip..............
