well not a newbie post but i'm well behind with whats new here!..

welcome back mate.. have been lurking around but not posting much myself.. remember your flamera back in the day! one o the best looking almeras that have passed through these forums!! do you still know where it is and who has it??

Cheers mate, yep i sold it to a guy named Martyn down in Plymouth back in 2007, he's still got it but i think he lives in the West Midlands now? As far as i know no one has seen it since its appearance in the Modball that year, something i arranged for him

Shame really, cos if it is still in great condition (which i doubt) it would still give todays show cars a run for its money!

welcome back andy, i remember joining up when flamera was at its peak, legend!

since ive been here and especially in the last couple of years the project cars are really taking off!!

Welcome back Andy, I can see if you're not on here your on the cover of a magazine.
Not sure if my project had changed as much since you were last here. My only non-achievement is being ranked #1 Almera on CarDomain lol

You gonna be at JAE this year?

Welcome back! I still see glimpses of the Flamera on the Auto Glym adverts in Total Nissan and Banzai!

Plenty's changed around here since you last popped in, we're running on a brand new, epic fast server now and we had our first International meet in April with a day trip to France!

South is getting quite active for meets again so hopefully you can make it to some of them! They aren't at Tonbridge any more (in fact most of the Tonbridge crew have vanished - Gavin C, Neil SE-R and PhillyT to name 3), but there's still meets relatively often!

Nice one tommo, i remember your car well when G owned it. I was parked next to it at MnM Engineering a couple of years back

really? if you dont mind could you wing us a pm IF you know any more about this car, its past is kinda sketchy and hassan and Gurrs posts about it have been archived somewhere :( nice to know a bit about it, like where my unichip went  if you dont know owt about it dont worry :)

how do fella, will have to catch up soon at one of the next big shows

can even remember when your almera was silver with black decals back in 2004!

I saw that mate! congrats! i'm impressed, i still get the odd emails from cardomain, think i'm 14th and 116th or something? Currently working on building up a GTiR profile to add to the others. Your cars a testament to your will fella, not many people around who say they're gonna do what they end up achieving so a credit to you!

As for JAE, if i'm free i'd love to pop up, the R has never been cleaner at the mo!

James, cheers for the info and keep me posted of any future south east meets, thats if you dont mind an N14 turning up lol ;)

Tommo, i dont know much else about it tbh, i only knew it whilst G owned it. Think thats when the GTiR conversion was complete? unsure about much else tbh fella

Scott, definitely will have that catch up mate. I see its chips thats a fave now, after coke, then pepsi before that lol

and hii to everyone else!

Hello, i was around when you were here last, left, then came back again. As you have already pointed out, you can't beat this forum for friendliness. I have noticed that since yourself and naylor have left there hasn't been many show cars. A lot of people have gone down the "strip everything out" route. That's just my perceptive so i hope know one is offended.

And congratulations on the N14. I don't think you'll ever be able to leave a car alone.

Wrong car Andy, thats Gurpals (Ragt20) car, he still has it. Tommo's is N/A 171bhp that used to belong to Gurr, Hassan and Scott.

Ahh i see mate, for some reason i thought G's was Jedi's old one! Must've got mixed up!

Whose got Naylors beauty now?

Or like MiniGibb's :( Such a shame to see that motor in the state it is now.

Welcome back Andy!

Still see your GTi in banzai and I remember the feature in fast car with the R. That's some motor by the way.

I think the whole modifying scene has moved on a bit recently. It seems less about big colours, kits and interiors and more about performance, clean cars and OEM+ modifications. There's still plenty of motors about here that are "show" worthy in their own right but maybe not in the "all singing, all dancing" way as before. AndyS's 5 door, Leigh and his brother's DET's and VVL's, Scott's DET Van, David Bull's 480bhp DE+T, Rowdy's track weapon, Wezz's VVL monster, Simcards Gti+T, Almerasleepers supercharged N16 and EDK's extremely subtle but immense attention to detail N16.

I said to myself looking through the crail pics 'I never knew wezz was going' then I realised
