got any pics of the RS, i used to have one of those and i had contertable one too, if your RS was standard then you will find the almera quicker and it will handle a hell of a lot better too, but i still think my old RS was more fun to drive, the almera seems too safe if you know what i mean.

My RS wasn't standard.... was running about 200bhp.

Welcome to the madhouse! I mean, er, AOC!

I am loving that RS, I do have a soft spot for 80s Fords, even though they are unreliable! My mate dropped an RS engine into his Orion which was alreet, until he blew the turbo! :rolleyes:

This is probably a stupid question, but can you please explain the reason for the `CD` behind the grille? :confused:

There used to be loads of escorts/orions sporting them round here, but I never found out what it was there for. :O

Basically back in the day.... it was thought that if you had a CD behind ur grille the old skool laser speed detector thingys couldn't get your number plate/speed as it was bounced off the CD...
Mine had it on when I brought it... just never changed it..! :D

still see lots of dumb arsed "old skool " lorry drivers with these in the windows ,never worked just an urban myth,fucking retards
