budget track car owes me £1250, not bad for an eGT on coilovers, cusco top links, cams, bucket and harnesses etc, tons of fun for the cash it owes me.

unfortunately my mint soon to be VE'd one owes me far more, the paint owes me more than the entire track car, and the VE makes the paint look cheap, but when its built and i drive it again im sure it will seem kinda worth it :cool:
 
insurance, brakes, tyres etc wear & tear items should be dropped ie stuff you have no control over. just cost for this you've added or had done really.
 
Id still have to buy most of that stuff over again mind so If i had that VZR build would end up like 6000 odd

But I value my car being 1700 less say.. about same cost for a SR20VE conversion.. so no I wouldnt want to swap im happy as is :red_indian:

Just a quick one really but I'm interested in finding out if this will work.

Right then, The rules are simple

Simply put how much your car was and then how much the car owes you for mods etc as well if you don't mind obviously but only on mods not maintenance etc

My car cost £1000

So far

Rota's and tyres £400
Side Skirts £50
Lowering springs £90
Kick Plates £25
Different Handles £20

So mine's not old to me and it owes me 585 quid with more to come

How much does yours owe you?
 
Car, cost - 820

Cams, coilies, lightened flywheel, lucino grill, wings, genuine clutch, new alarm parts, bearings, brakes, fluids, plugs, tyres, bushes, tie rods etc etc...
cost - 1500 give or take

The little jobs, cost - patience and love.

2.5 years of big grins and relability, cost - doesn't exactly impress the ladies.
(solution, show them your cock before they see the car.)

Budget FUN motoring wont be like this forever, enjoy it while you can.:corbs:
 
Just worked out so far over the last year+ I've spent £700 on my 'bodykit' and its not even painted yet....

However that includes all of the tools, materials, bits and pieces I've needed to do the work myself. That's all for the rear bumper, skirts and spats, and front bumper with cutout and grille all custom modified.

Plus the £230 for bonnet and all the painting.

It's a hell of a lot but its been spread out over time, and should look awesome, even though I say so myself :D
