They don't light up the same cos one has a metal reflector and the other one is blanked off halfway along

Correct - so I butchered a spare light and removed the reflector and blanking strip. Had to turn the reflector inside out, and now they both operate and look symmetrical.

me mate took some pics on money night for us as i aint that clued up when it comes to different modes on cameras etc just waiting for him to send them over

as you look on the tail gate of a N15 almera there is a fog light on the right and a blank on the left hand side.

to which side light bulds have been fitted into

YOU NEED TO GET A FRONT SIDE LIGHT BULD HOLDER (2 OF) then using wire join the bulb holders to the wires for the number plate light (blue / red wire) live (black) earth
