Andy's N15 GTi

well i'm presuming he bought it from a garage/dealer since they put a years test on it before he went back and picked it up, and sold as seen or not that's a dodgy mot, so other things could be wrong that he's not noticed yet cause whoever gave it that mot is a dodger. as for the stereotype ask anyone on here who has had dealings with me and you'll find i'm a very generous person :p

....phone....

its from a dealer but on paperwork it is stated as no warranty/gaurantee givern or discussed. tbh there all simple fixes and as its coming off the road im not that fazed. the brakes are funny as well. If i apply the brake the pedal goes right down but then if i lift and reaply its much firmer and feels better. im assuming the master cylinder is going, will change it when it goes into its new home for the winter. pics to follow

as for the garage its 70miles from home and the bloke running it wasnt the most helpfull type cba dealing with them again, shes in my hands now and will get the attention it needs

Looks great, good buy... Have you considered a concrete base with a timber garage, galvanised roof? would be alot less than £2k.

the garage is gonna sit on a 6" thick concrete base, 10'1 x 16'3, concrete walled and reinforced steel roof. i know i coulda got cheaper but i dont want to reduce the security.

ordering it tomorrow. have started digging foundations, will be built in 2-3 weeks time

Pics look good mate she's in pretty good condition considering most just run them into the ground :)
Like your garage plans as well.

cheers stu. i think the prev owner took care of her, full dealership service history and receipts for all work done. only outer body rust i can see se far is on roof (prob parked under tree)

ooooooo thats not a good sign with the bubbling on the inner arch. Get it cut open, shit brushed out and filled to the brim with cavity wax. Guarantee theres more rust between the 2 skins.

leem, yeah its not a good sign, once its in the garage (3-4 weeks hopefully) will be working front to back on anti rust, the rear obv will have the most attention, once i get started will strip the entire back end and do all i can to stop it getting any worse and to tidy it up. im not rushing this have set a target of next summer before its properly ready. last job will be a full respray which will sort all the dents/scuffs/bubbles it has. lots of work to keep me busy over the winter months but will be slow as my disposable income each month is tight.

put in a request for price today for a starter kit of A2 ss bolts/nuts/washers, 1000 pieces total. should be around £45 quid XD started a list of replacement oem parts as well, will be ordering small quantities each month to spread the cost.

Yeah that help came in the form of me, your step dad and your house mate you cheeky git! :)

Its coming on well and only sunburn as the injury attained the gti should be living in its new home in no time
