do you have any ideas? no codes showing up on the scanner? imho there is nothing worse than trying to chase down an electrical/electronic gremlin, especially an intermittant one!
 
I have now sorted the weird idle issue...

I swapped the MAF for a spare I had in the garage, and have just taken the car out for a quick drive.

Whereas before the wideband was reading VERY lean on idle up around 18-19 it now idles around 14.7 ie where it should and to drive....

WOW Ive never had it like this before it could be described as savage it pulls SO much harder than Ive ever felt it

i know that my bung leak'd round the edges, but its at the last 0.05% of the exhaust system so meh.

when my asp header was fitted initially (uncoated) there were zero signs of blowing ie no zoot on the outside of the header - just a pin hole leak before the flexi
 
I mean the bung is causing back pressure in the system causing it to blow up front

It's going to come off next year anyway so I can sort it out properly. Will be blasted, coated and modified a little before going back on :)

Soooooo after 2011 starting pretty well with the bargain of the year, it got shitter alot quicker..

At a petrol station a guy decided to open his door (it was apparently my fault though, I drove into him...) as I drove past causing

Had bashed the coilover to max camber, probably knocked the tracking out damaged the wheel and I need a new wing

So car was returned to standard...ish form for a while
