Autech GTi

damage is worse because I was moving his door was at a 45deg angle so had the weight of his car behind it :(

fook that is real shit mate! what's the insurance company saying re blame?

and that's ross's rear end, your front quarter, if i was wolv i'd be shitting myself as they say bad things always happen in threes!

I'm not bothered about my insurance the type of claim it is they always end 50/50 regardless of the evidence, (i have the cctv from the garage showing he never looked when he opened his door) even still I don't want to go through insurance have it end up like that and cost me money in the long run.
He's fixing his I'm fixing mine job done, was the only panel with rust on my car anyway :p

Got a new wing lined up just need it spraying, got something in mind anyway till then :)

pull your finger out with the overhaul

looks the titties but with moar powahzz and that takata/modena green paint to totally finish it sexwee style. nomnom

It's only new hubs, brakes, steering rack bushes, wishbone bushes, rose joint track rod ends, new steering arms aaaaaand wire brush and paint

Coilovers are literally the BEST modification for the N15, just look what they achieve

AMAZE

In desperate need of some for my N15, just had a look at my shocks for the first time properly and all the rubber is perished but not burst yet at least, next on the list thats for sure!

Right so as my Lamdba has not been working for aaaages now, I went and got myself a new one, but not a normal one, got the idea from 'The Dash'.

Pretty impressive to note I have gotten 400+ miles from a tank without a working lamdba :stuart:

The stock sensor earths itself through the manifold and the grounding strap that is normally present at the end of the downpipe, now most people upgrade to stainless manifold and rarely put the the grounding strap back on.

Stainless is a shit conductor so the lambda is basically not earthed, now the new sensor I have has a separate wire for an earth :)

Heres what I have;

1 scissor jack achieves this :clown:

Removed the old sensor, possibly the 14yo original

With its 3 wires 2 Heater (White) and 1 signal (Black)

2 White - Heater
1 Grey - Earth

(Kinda missed a few pictures)

Old vs New

The new connection and the extra wire

Finished with a ring terminal and some heat shrink

With the new lambda installed, the wires sat right by the earthing points on the back of the inlet so I have earthed it there :)

Taking the car out shortly so will see how it is now :)

I know the ASP is only Mild steel but still thats not a great conductor.

well my verdict is in been out driving around for the last hour or so, it hasnt done anything wrong since fitting :)

I will give it a few days to make sure its definitely ok, but its an initial win for sure.

Ive also just changed around some hoses on the engine getting rid of the shitty hose pipe effect stuff for the catch can plus it was pretty small, and replacing the breather for the FPR as it was rather perished.
