I had the choice of an n1 spolier or a standard one with some cash off with my n1...
i took the standard...not gone on the n1 spoiler at all man

Good choice imo

hmm.. thanks for the input lads.. already have coilovers so its low enough at the moment, but only got standard wheels so i think thats why everyone whos saw it has always said take it off..

we'll see though.. i'll be keeping the autech spoiler for a while and if i think the standard one suits... the autech one will be up for sale..

Right, digging up an old post here but better than creating a new one..

I bought a standard GTi spoiler off quickdraw a few months ago, but after trying to fit it to the pulsar, i noticed that the holes didnt match up from the autech spoiler.

Now, i'm confused as to if the differences is between:

a) the standard GTi spoiler and the standard pulsar spoiler have different holes
or
b) the standard GTi spoiler and the standard pulsar spoiler have the same holes but the Autech holes drilled are different?

I've sourced a spoiler from a pulsar, but dont want to make a trip up and down if the spoiler is going to be the same as the GTi and its not going to fit.

any one help?

The Autech tailgate has holes for its spoiler and needs two drilled for a GTi spoiler, it also will need two square holes for two plugs on the GTi spoiler.
The GTi tailgate doesnt have holes for the Autech spoiler.
Had a look at my old tailgate off my Autech and you will see two rubber bungs about an inch in diameter at the top corners, under these is where the holes for the UK spoilers would have been drilled. You're best to get a normal tailgate off any almera with a spoiler and get it sprayed up if you dont want to drill holes.

It is alot easier to get another tailgate, but then you'll need to either find a black one or fork out for spraying

You can swap the Autech Version spoiler for the N1 spoiler though. The holes for the 2 spoilers are in exactly the same place.

or you could do what i've done and just cut the bolts and pins off the spoiler and use kit tape along the front edge,

4 months and its still holding strong, no holes drilled.

Exactly what i told damo to tell ya!

I have a black boot off an N1 here if you want a spare. Talk to damo about it
