FOSSIL FUELS - BP0 TURBO

Best N15 i've ever owned. Very happy with how fast it could produce the power, no lag with the small intercooler and short pipework set up.

As i said to Rob, for more power in the future, a bigger intercooler, up the fuel pressure and up the boost to 1bar. But Rob is really pleased with how it runs now. Plus he hasn't had to sacrifice the standard looks of the car which is important when you notice how some cars look a bit off with a huge intercooler poking through.

I forgot to add Rob, the car has a brand new starter motor so a bit of winter peace of mind!

Your the man Simcard...

Defiantly one of your finest pieces...

Love the car... it doesn't need any more power at the moment... and I love the sleeperish look...
Strangely the car is even quieter now with the resenated de cat fitted...

It's just brilliant all round... couldn't be happier ;)

Lovely car this Rob. Still havent been for a proper passenger ride yet. A few little imperfections but for the year it's super clean. Been well looked after.

Cheers boss

Love it!!

The pipe work is brilliant looks like its been in there since the factory! Simcard has always known whats best of these cars! Glad you have this Rob she's a beaut!

Thanks bud...

Honestly I couldn't be happier with the car...

I have only had 3 minor problems...

The boost pipe on to the plenum came off today... Could do with a new clip...
And when the fuel is below 1/4 of a tank the fuel pump over heats and cuts out... (It done this on the way home from JAE)
Also the the front brake discs are round the wrong way... Nothing serious... They are being changed soon.

Other than that its great ;)

They're actually on the right way. It's a myth that the groove is meant to follow rotation.

It does need a beefy clip, needs to be very large though.

Fuel pump issue is a nee one to me. It is one of those ebay jobbies i believe, Elliot will confirm. I can't see a fuel pump overheating even on a low level as it is still very much covered in petrol. I never had this problem and i did run the car to the bottom before filling up. Maybe a quick removal and check the filter will help.

Lol fair enough bud...

Well it cut out on me when I was getting on to a roundabout when low on fuel...
I then had to push it to a petrol station... Put 30 quid of juice in it and not had a problem sisnce...

Pel has been having the same trouble with his walbro fuel pump.

Keep the fuel topped up and its fine ;)

HRC it is, beast of a pump.

Sounds a bit like what was happening with The Shitter, low fuel cutout just the same...

...ended up being sludge in the tank getting dragged thru and clogging the filter.

Maybe a tank flush is in order.

I've got a HRC pump in mine, never had any problem cutting out and I've run it down to around 5-10 litres left in the tank.

No not Borbet A's:oops:
