Nissan did recall the vehicles for this concern. The wiring harness and the lock actuator where changed as part of this. The concern was then that water could get into the plug being the A post and the door. This would short out and cause the SECU to have a fit! The Actuator was changed for a noise / wear concern at the same time.
As for locking your keys in the vehicle, the lock knob on the drivers door should unlock when you close the door. Put the window down and test it. Also the key switch in the ign barrel should stop the vehicle from being super locked as well.
