Local Garage's mysterious Race Almera

Nahh he's blatantly just a ford boyyy who's put the badges on for joke value or something..

Surely nobody would swap in a cosworth. The work involved would be stupid.
Joe

I will do yeah, next time I'm in the area. Its blatantly modified, as next door there's some description of dyno or rolling road and a selection of tuned up japanese cars..
He obviously plays a big role in the garage as it bears his name.. So hopefully the owner will be knocking about next time I go down there.

another call for club business cards here :D slip one under the wiper. Ford badges :rasp:

There's a P10 knocking about that has the Cosworth engine and 4wd running gear on! Some people do the unexpected ;)

To be fair it wasn't really a Ford Focus, IIRC the only genuine Ford bit was the badge, all the panels were custom made.

there was a bloke on NPOC who had a red p10 eGT he used for track days, and im sure he was from the same ford club this appears to be from. possibly the same person or a mate etc, wouldnt be suprised if it was just bought cheap offsetting what hes spent on it, obviously seen a fair bit of money but if your used to playing with cossies its probably small change for a fun track day car.

If it has a Cossy engine it would be a similar concept to this:-

Yes its my car, am a keen Ford enthusiast and use the nissan as a cheap reliable track car. The plate was on my cossie but have put a new one on it. One of my mechanics also has one that has all the logos on it too, its a good was of advertising my garage. My mate from the RS owners club has the egt also for track days. After owning and running a cossie for a few years I wanted something that wouldnt keep breaking for track days!!! But i'd rather drive this everday then my Ford Ranger its a lot more fun.
Will try and post some pics up later.

sorry about the ford badge, you would be surprised the amount of people that ask what model ford it is
but the nissan is the one i drive the most, we use the nissans because they make such good track cars, the engines take so much abuse on a track day and we havent had one break down yet

three of our nissans at donington
