not a straight fit need some modifications iirc

can i ask why you spent 550 on coilovers?

can get corsa B ones cheaper than that, straight fit from what ive been told

Why... because there are many reason

1. The corsa one needs custom fitting which i dont trust
2. The coilovers im getting is to my set up (SR20)
3. Only few people have done corsa rear coilovers
4. The corsa ones are too stiff

Thanks nearly finished... did 13hour shift lol today thankfully got loads done, engine and driveshaft are done so wiring left then i can sort out the other stuff

Well firstly got the mounts lined up then welded them after a mock fit

The underbrace needed a little shaving

Engine in perfect i thing :tt2:

Engine out and welded properly ( need to neat it up a little)

Sprayed the rear satin black

Custom shafts :smile: ( painted to see if any hair line cracks so far so good)

Interior sprayed black

Treated the damn rust :no: ( will weld a patch on tomorrow)

Painted the alloys

Sprayed the rocker cover:

Its amateur welding..

But VERY VERY strong nevertheless!!

yeah but the problem is, its like tacking a long weld, it sticks a bit but you dont actually get any penetration and so end up with a piss weak weld.


how do you know its very very strong?

i've tried every possible method to make it budge, not the slightest..

i have good faith in my brothers amateur welding

as long as its had some "testing" lol, atleast you know its the best it can be with the non experienced welding

to be honest, we could've made it look neater and nicer, but, it aint no show car or really looks nice so not really arsed

Can't wait to see this finished...I'd have drilled through the sleeving material on the driveshafts and puddle/plug welded them at silly amps too,just to be sure
