My Almera GTi

im not sure about aftermarket alloys i may get some standard almera GTi alloys and get the powdercoated black

wouldnt mind it a little lower too but i cant go too low as of my drive has a slope and i would catch the underside

thanks for the comments guys :)

Dan

this isnt a shameless plug, but check out my thread '99 gti', theres many pics of mine with black wheels. make your own decisions

i cant really say much about dobies 'cumbria' other than they was excellent with me when i bought my GTi :D

i think in my service history my GTi was serviced there
i just do mine myself or my uncle does it for me its cheaper :D

not posted on here for a while anyway....

my car has been off the road since november due to a problem with the engine and it went into safety mode (not going over 2000 rpm)

its been to my uncles garage but he couldnt find the problem (limited software on his computer) so i just left it down the drive until the snow and ice cleared up

it went to nissan last tuesday they found the problem straight away it turned out to be two temperature sensors

all fixed now and im really happy :D

i havent driven the car since november and it feels fantastic

i now can carry on with putting my parts on....

black powdercoated rocker cover
wiper arms powdercoated front and back
nismo fpr with guage
mongoose de-cat pipe (GTi-R)
magnecor ht leads
also got a sce manifold gasket

my HEL brake lines are fitted also had all discs and pads done and it stops beautifully:)

yes yes and mor yes, one of my very fav red GTi if not the' is back. this was the GTi i saw years back on Car Domain, that made me think i gotta get me one of these :)

im happy it was nothing major matey

Nice one, it's a great feeling when you lose heart in it...then get it back running. It's like a new car again.

its like when i first got the car it feels quick and puts a big smile on my face :)

it was killing me not being able to drive it but shes back woo hoo

you really need to debadge the back.
get a P1 number plate surround/top lip in black,
get a plain import shape number plate,

then i would look better :D too much going on otherwise ,

ive not got the vzr lights on anymore sold them ages ago to kez :)

i did really like them but i thought and so did others that the orange and red clashed a little

as for updates nothing much other than had the tie rod ends and steering rack ends changed

next thing will be the clutch its starting to slip
but then again i want a uprated one anyway :D
when its a little warmer i will give the old girl a 60k service

there is loads more things i want to do but its having the cash to do it :(

Dan

yours has only done 60k????

lucky git!! lol

thanks again for the VZR rears, the still look awesome, if you had any other colour car you would of kept them i reckon ;) lol

well its just over 58k :D

ive owned it for 4 years and only done about 24k i would of done even less if i wasnt so lazy and walked to work only a 15min walk from my house :)
