Car started yest and today with no problems so dont know what was wrong! Just going to get a decent service done so it doesnt happen over winter!! Got an annoying clunking sound from the back right side of the car when turning right so I'll be looking to get that sorted tae!

Alot of shuddering when braking too....new discs and pads front and back within last year so not sure why thats happening!
 
RE: not starting

had the same problem with my grans micra, intermittent starting problem which turned out to be dizzy cap and rotor arm.

replaced it and the problem hasnt come back since.

a new rotor arm is £8 from nissan and buypartsby has a cap for less than 20 quid. DO NOT but the arm from buypartsby as it doesnt fit.
 
Hey guys not posted up in a while!! Car has been running mint for a while now...not long hit 114000 miles but still going strong:). Touch wood!!
Had a few things done since I was last on....new buddy club racing spec condensor from funky power, got the new dizzy cap/rotor arm as per above posts so thanks...sorry the thanks is late. Had to get a couple of new connectors for the front headlights but they were easy sorted.
Hopefully get a good service done soon and looking to clean the MAF and rest of engine bay. Fingers crossed I can make the Dyno day that Chris has arranged :).
