Awrite guys weather the is a fucking joke...no sure about the south o the country but Lothian & borders is a nightmare!! Cleared and dug the car out 3 times now just to keep on top of it but car wouldnt start last night, plenty battery power and starter motor is fine so something must be frozen!! Coolant and anti-freeze was done not that long ago and spark plugs are pretty new!! Strange but def due to this shite weather!! Anyone else having bother??

Car has not long hit 100000miles so got some bits & pieces for a small service, got a voucher for my xmas from my bro to get tinted windows and new gear knob fitted (Momo GTR2)!

Cheers guys, no the shifter aint weighted! I like the gear knob but def need a new surround!! That was a day after I had put some tyre shine on and for some reason it hadnt worked properly...feck knows what happenend! I thought there would have been no point in having the tints 60-70% so just went for limo black!
Awright finally got shot of my poly engine mount bushes thanx to Rick & Ross...cheers lads!! The vibrations were doing my nut it!! So much better! Just bought myself rear beam bushes, new rear discs, pads & brake fluid!! Needing done as theyre fecked!!

Got my new rear beam bushes & rear discs & pads done on friday...wot a difference! Was all good all weekend, cleaned the car with new not wet waterless spray (dont know if any1 has heard of it) a guy has opened a new unit in corstorphine and they use no water at all! Got a bottle to try it....AMAZIN! Cleans & waxes your car and no water needed just a couple of microfibre clothes & your laughing...so easy!
Then on sun some old boy in a jeep has reversed into my driver side door so got a big dent right at the door handle and locking meachanism & a dent at the bottom from the tow bar!! NIGHTMARE!
They crashed into me and the guys wife is being a right cow! Think she's finally accepted that she'll have to go through her insurance as she had originally offered me £150 hahahaha or to travel through to Gala (1hrs drive) but told her I'll get a quote nearer to me and let her know!

Will get it sorted, got a quote from a mate of £375 as it'll need sprayed and the key barrell looks damaged. Called Nissan and that about £100 with a new barrell and new keys cut!

Still not got the car fixed.....guy who reveresed into my car has a prob with his insurance so tough shit for not doing it on the side as I had offered them! Cost of getting it sorted though insurance is £850!

I hope that the problem with the insurance doesn't end up with his company not paying out mate! also maybe look into the fuel filter or injectors for your starting problem if the ht leads make no difference

cheers guys, fuel filter was last changed jul 2010 so I'll give that a try aswell as HT leads! Fingers crossed!
I hear injectors can become seized/stuck, I was given a warning peice of paper from my ultrasonically cleaned injectors. If not starting remove injectors and give them a tap to release trapped crap basically
Will drop the mechanic a message and get him to try that mate, thanks.
