Just waiting on a few things so, it all depends on those really :D
It was fast enough on track yesterday so I'd dreading to think what its gonna be like with this new motor!

cool... i take it your keeping your old engine as a backup???...

it would make sence to... are u going to let out an insight in to the internals ect of this new build??? i am verry interested in what u have to say :)
 
I'm keeping the current engine as a spare like you said.
All will be revealed about the spec of the new engine once its all completed.

Like, friday haha.. Had it kicking round in the garage (its stufagti's old red turbo GTi one).
So in my pre-Japfest prep I decided I'd try it on.
I've already broke it off though haha :(
 
The car passed its MOT yesterday... So it'll be around for another year :D
Only advisories were front brake pads (which I knew were getting there anyway).

The Car's looking very rough at the moment, standard GA14 catback, primer half up the driver's side, standard SR20DE in there at the moment etc.. but its all in the name of new shiny parts and new shiny paint!! :D
Also got a new steering wheel last week, a 330mm Nardi Classic leather with red stitching:

Joe you could make your car so much lighter, dont be a fanny and get her stripped... or at least get rid of them heavy standard seats!

Steering wheel looks good but it looks quite dished and where your hands are seems to be quite a distance from the inticator storks, i know DMSteven had this problem as you cant just flick them you have to reach for them :roll:

Anyways when you getting this bloody engine fitted lol????

Just loooking out for a set of black or grey reclining Recaros, Not feeling bucket seats as this is my Daily...

That was the whole point of this wheel/boss.. my knees didn't clear the bottom of the standard wheel even on the highest setting (only those of you into blipping the throttle under braking will understand), so I wanted it further out. DMsteve has got pussy short fingers if he can't reach, I can reach mine :P

Engine will be fitted when its complete... which it isn't, as I've decided to go to a new level with it.
I don't need a new engine to beat your 14.35 anyway sexy :P
