Got a few updates, manly on the car itself as I was doing a few things I've been meaning to do for this summer.
Firstly I wanted to remove a bit more weight from the car so...
Rear door as standard
Majority of the inner skin chopped away
Decided this was half a job.. so propped up the windows ghetto style and removed the winder mech and a lot more material from the inner skin. Oh and cut the crash bars out !!
Did the same with the Tailgate
Also I was looking at these now useless box sections that the rear seats mount on...

All Nice & clean behind there, no nasty surprises. Just need to paint the rear out matt black now to tidy it all up.
I also removed the wiring for the rear wiper, rear speakers, rear 3rd brake light, and the rear washwipe tube etc, and weighed the lot, and it was nearly 20kg's !
Next I removed my 20mm spacers and put standard wheel studs back in.
I also re-blacked the C-pillars and washed the car leaving me with this...
The combination of the weight loss and the removal of heavy spacers and addition of light wheels has had a great effect on how the car drives, it feels better than ever.
So with this in mind, I headed off to JPOC Race Wars on Easter Sunday, a charity event in which you race down to a cone, turn around, and race back.
I feel my car had an advantage with this because it was quite a short sprint less that 1/4 mile and some of the turbo boys were only just getting moving!

vs Almera Turbo (as you can see he is having issues with clutch slipping)
vs another EP3 R - The Reg "SLOW EP" rang true when I raped him
Now for the real race.. me vs Jack CTR, supposedly pretty tuned etc,, RIVALRY Y0!
We has a few good races, he couldn't get me off the line ever though, and I held a small lead to the end. Acceleration was the same. Turn was the same. I could brake later with the R888's on.
One of only 2 cars that raped me all day. Milks Evo, 500+hp, proper race car races in the MLR series.
and the highlight of my day.. WANT
As you can see I had a great day.
And I feel we all repped FWD Nissans to the max, as we did so well.
I think mine was most likely the quickest FWD car there, and I only got beaten by 2 or 3 high power 4WD monsters and race cars.

Yeah man, so much love for them now after yesterday, always looked at them as a mediocre car until those two !
