My New Re-Spray

What do you guy's think of the new colour...?

It's Nissan Apple Green.

The respray isn't perfect, slight eggshell effect up close. But I did do it myself...

I think the passangerside wing needs re-done, and the bonnet need re-painting and laquering.

It's all needing a light sanding and polishing up.

Bit of a contradiction is it not. Either do the whole thing, or panel by panel.
I thought you were goin to do it?

I would do front and rear bumper and side skirts but they are plastic panels not metal also they are replaceable. you can't replace the roof and rear quarter panels.

on the fence line with the colour, think i need to see all the car put together again before i can say for sure

Orange peel would be from the lacquer, wet sand it back with 2500 then 3000 then machine polish it to get the best finish ;)

Bravery has a new meaning, good effor sir but like Garnz says the final product (using Benskett's advice) will tell the whole story.

Good effort mate, looks realy really good.

How long did it take you?

In all, it never took long...

...but I done it over the week. Still not finished though.

It's much brighter than it looks in the pics.

It's not a bodyshop finish, but it looks fine a foot or so away.

was the tropical green in bad condition when you decided to paint it?

it always looked in good condition when i seen it
