My VZ-R

Didn't keep the backbox as the crack on it was huge. It didn't help when the Twat at Mr Tyre started yanking it back and forth so I'd buy an expensive powerflow off him. MIJ knocked £100 off his best price fitted and the whole process took less than an hour. (very nice burger joint on the premises too).

UPDATE:

Debadged @ the back and de-stickered @ the front and back. Centre dash removed ready to connect ISO connectors. I like the double-din-ready cage.

Next thing for the back is The Rear Wiper Mod.

Made a couple of changes:

Dropped the wiper down and bought some easy to fit vzr mudguards. No more dirty sides the day after I wash the car

cool S-RV!!! :thumb:
i thing it's time to put back on the roof bars!!!

Thanks mate. I love the bars but sometimes do get urges to remove them, it sounds rather costly though to have the holes filled and smoothed too.

I picked up your toys and put them back in the pram. Thought people might want to see updates, I do.

Lmao :lol2:, thanks corbs. Nothing much been done for quite a while. I crave more power... keep your eyes peeled in a month or two... :sinister:

you are right! when i remove the bars i closed tha holes with plastic caps and bison glue! but before i put them i put also a black sticker so not to destroy the paint with the glue!

thx. That sounds like a much more affordable way of doing it, i'll consider it. I want to either keep bars and mudguards, or, no bars and full ph2 bits.

Yours looks great.

Big update here, as the car's been with me having some TLC a few hours a day after work.
Now the first thing Mo complained of, was the savagely heavy clutch pedal, so to rectify that, I had to remove the gearbox..

Oh yeah P.S.... Enjoy it man.. car's feeling a whole lot better to drive with a functioning clutch.
This whole thing has motivated me to fit my bushes after feeling the tightness and mega response of the steering after the Bushes were fitted.

Good work. Looks like a cheap spray grease was used on the input shaft. I used marine grade grease on mine.

good stuff

but no comment on how awesome vvl is and how you've been thrashing and racing his car around, gettin tickets, racing for pinks etc?! :clown:
