Bought a new face plate from Nissan, had to wait a week for this item


Then sat with this issue, so I have to order the bottom part that surrounds the fan controls
 
Yes I'm ordering the bottom plate later today, will be switching from oem unit to an aftermarket headunit, you can see it at the bottom in the picture, the Sony headunit will go up where the cassette player is.
 
After I removed it from the package


Moved the Sony headunit up, and I closed the gap between the air vent and headunit face plate late last night, headunit face plate hooks in behind the air vent which is why it looks like this

Finally after a months wait this arrived ...




Also bought a new PCV insulator because the cam cover does not come with one

My spark plug tube seals were shot on the old one, went to 3 Nissan dealerships to find out if they sell it seperate and they said no, also the hole between the crank ventilation and the cam cover which leads to the PCV had no seal so I was burning oil, which was one of the reasons I bought a catch can.

So I opted for a new cam cover, only because I couldn't find spark plug tube seals, unfortunately, because those, the cover seal and the PCV insulator turned into very hard plastic.
