N16 DCi-R

Plastic trunking. Wondering through B&Q it was Stu's idea. I was going to use square drain pipe lol but the trunking does a super job

^thanks :) Can't wait for engine work to begin. Just waiting for clients to pay invoices! grrr.

Hmmm well I'm sure we can have a chat about it in person at the meet in July. But I do love the whole look of the car, excellent work. I wonder who has the biggest N16 spec list lol

Mick

Heh I guess I don't mind people copying my bumper :D Nah he ith would be awesome to have a fleet of N16s looking like this :thumb:

Well my spec list is on the first page of this thread, but at a guess I would say you do Mick as there's more smaller mods that can do done to petrol plus it's been worked on longer from Steven to you.

A few pics I forgot to post from Shakeys on the 19th April. Riding high and still sporting OE bumper :O

He wheel span off the line like crazy and if I hadnt been so busy watching him rather than my rev counter I would have had him! :D

In the run that photo is of he got 16.48... so actually I probably wouldnt have had him :O Would have been close though, and seeing as I was running stock springs and I'm a derv...

haha thanks

Well, for one it needs to be repaired. I'm quite tempted by the spats you can buy from Autostyle in South Africa. Or there's the Joytuning (:D <Joe) rear bumper for the N16 but it's for the p1 thus fitment is slightly different.

I'm happy with looks overall now though so probably won't do anything other than repair. The colour-coded mud guards help the lines.

Hi edk,
This is my first post in the website, I own a N16 YD22D in south asia, similar to the ones but here only saloons with few twiks in the styling! I am in University in the UK . my YD engine does not come with a Turbo like Almeras here. I desperately want to convert it like the YD22DDT engine spec. Can you guys help me out where to get the Turbo here and what additional parts will I need to complete the transformation?e.g do I need new headers and exhaust manifold? or will the stock N/A YD headers do.Looking forward to your replies!

PS. your's look absolutely stunning!

Welcome :) Quite a bit of info you're going to need there so I'm going to give you your own thread.
