New steed.

I like these too, I had the older model myself before, was really reliable and smooth etc but just bored me to drive lol

Mine has really surprised me if i'm honest, I went up to Scarborough for an ice-cream tonight and took it by the scruff on the way home.

Such a nimble car for its size, no wash at all and even my 'brake mid-corner technique' didn't bother it, it just showed a little oversteer.

All it needs is 100 more bhp!

What is the bhp?
These days as far as daily drives/commuters are concernned the only way is deisel ( or small petrol ). Mine is averaging 57+mpg at the mo and i just couldn't afford to run something like this. Road tax as well must be crippling. Thats just my old sensible head speaking.

158bhp.

Tax is about £270 a year.

I'm getting about 40mpg at the moment (not bad)

I do think a diesel will be on the cards for me next, 320d hopefully.

2.2 CDTi one of these El. Drop in filter, remap, 200bhp. Awesome engines.

Aye, have contemplated one Ed but I want to get away from fwd really.

Saying that, 200 horse in that chassis would be lovely, is it a heavy lump?

Don't know I'm afraid. I know the 2.2 FN2 on TDOC that's also had an uprated IC that's running 220bhp / 350lbft gives a few modified CTRs a run for their money though.
