Yes the GTi is 143 and not 134BHP as standard
And if you do go for big rims like 18"s make sure a) you get coilovers cos you'll look like a monster truck without em as NO springs can match the lowering on the front compared to coilovers and b) If you get coilovers you gotta have a 40 profile man, 215/40/18, the first three gents ever to put 18s on a GTi all ended up with 40 profiles before they lost all their fillings over bumps in the road
