Cheers,

Ammar

P.S i know its my brothers account :phone:

that a really nice finish ammar! is this your first attempt at spraying? what type of kit did you use and do you have access to an oven/booth?

Yup, first attempt at proper spraying..

We've done a few rattle can jobs before, but never this

Used a 3hp compressor and a hvlp gun (iirc), i've got a polish mate who runs a body shop so helped me quite abit :)

and no oven no booth, just a large unit

Smoothe!
Looks awsome now! I like the color!

Cheers

looks like orange peel to me too :P but flatting would sort it if you piled the lac on

how warm are you able to get that unit and the cars when you're spraying them?

had a heater blower thing, soo was fairly warm! but i got told heat dont make a mahoosive difference :)

It shall be flatted tomorrow, along with the Turbo :)

got i think 4 coats of laquer :\

equal coats.. I think :online2long:

jesus christ lol, plenty of lac to have a go at flatting back smooth then lol

I think normally the pro's spray like a quick, fine coat. further away from the panel and move quickly across it. This will therefore defo not run or anythin, while this coat is still tacky they then spray a heavier coat, closer up to the panel and moving more slowly over it. This is the good coat which gives the nice flat, orange peel free shine, but doesn't run cos the first tacky coat is holding it up.

i think lol

Ive never seen anyone do that lol

Then again, ive never seen anyone spray anything lol

But, as you say, Pro, something im not infact faaar from it

P.S Moar Lacquer, MOARE SHINEEEE :devil2:

All worth it in the end :)

But even before i flat it, i look at the car and weird things start to happen in the lower department.

It just looks TOOO DAMN FUCKING SEXY.!!..

and turns head like father christmas :osama:
