What the lads are saying is true... our roads were never salted up until it got bad 2 year ago. I have an 11 year old focus and not a touch of rust under it, the usual on the exhaust and thats it.

It not the amount of members its the fact that they are sound, nice to each other and go to a lot of effort to help each other when they can and usually have great fun to chat to or meet up with.

There is not one regular member over there that I bet any other member would say a bad word about. Also even though there is a lot less members, someone always has an educated answer to any issue a person has.

AOC is great too from what I read of people helping each other and giving info ect as well so im not saying I dont like it here, I really enjoy reading the project threads and there is good banter here too.

I think the point Mike was making is there is no bitching over there. Its not 1 forum v another either way....

Its got knack all to do with bitching levels.
 
I cant say anything bad about any of the lads and have met them all at this stage, theres no negativity what so ever swallow what you want! I still believe it was reference to bitching but if you think some think else thats just a difference of opinions :)

Im not getting into this any more, its quinzers thread on a lovely car he bought and best of luck to him :).

Quick update on this

Yesterday changed oil and put in genuine filter. Ordered the proper plugs aswel. Changing the two Cv boots aswell as one is busted. Also new oil pressure sender too :) all this will be done before christmas
 
Cheers man. No better pics as of yet. Just the weather and things being a factor. But will be getting a full valet soon and loads of pics :)
 
Wow a lovely purchase and one that I think many would've jumped at had the timing been different I know I would've. Hope to see more progress and this being one hell of a project thread in the coming months etc?

So ordered the oil pressure switch today off Nissan... they rang me this evening telling it had come in.. Super Quick :O collecting tomorow

Also Getting a new battery tomorow + Spark Plugs

Arranged to get Cat refitted / Cv Boots and Hopefully oil pressure switch on Saturday :)
 
Update on this

Oil and Genuine oil filter Change done
Both Cv boots Done
Genuine Oil Pressure Switch done
Plugs not done yet.. but will be next week :)
