on a positive note, its gonna look 1000x times better than the stickered up shit cars on the road (corsa/saxo/106), and i would think people will look twice if you drive past, cos almera gtis arent common.

The theory is good, as is the tailgate and ride-height but i cant see the Nismo logo working some how. Anyone who knows their nissans will know of the possible lack of nismo parts on your car, and everyone else will think it just looks shit. Its you car at the end of the day so its your call but less is more on black N15's.

I think personally thats summed it up for me....

not that keen on the Nismo graphics, and shopping lists you really should have all thats advertised (I dont know if you have or not though?)

but the smoothed tailgate you have to have the rear number recess done properly, looks shit when theyre just hoyed on anywhere
Aye, you need to get a Phase 2 numberplate surround and have that put in the bumper. Mine was done with an aftermarket plate surround that protrudes from the bumper, I'm not too keen on it but it cost enough to make me keep it! Hopefully when the rear splitter is on it won't look so bad.
I really like the smoothed boot as it looks like something that could have been done by nissan quite easily.

whats the point in black mesh? it wouldn't stand out as much, i think the mesh looks nice it highlights the nice shape of the grill and phase bumper

a reckon silver mesh looks cheap no offence anyone pev monsta get them orange side repeaters off before you do anything car looks smart as it is now matey

I reckon that's the point to me, it's only mesh, it's only function is to stop birds and such from ploughing into the engine bay (on a grille), why highlight it?

can understand people liking it though! and certain cheap versions look a bit like chicken wire, quite liked NeilSR's old one but i wouldnt use any personally.

Like K33 ELV say's, thats exactly the point... Personally, I wouldn't buy any colour or mesh, whats wrong with the plastic stuff that's already there?

its plastic is my point! doesn't look very sporty, i take it none of you guys like skylines and gti-r's with big intercoolers either? you get nice lookin mesh you know not like that edwardian fire grill stuff, i mean the fine stuff

you can hardly compare silver mesh to an intercooler, by that definition i take it you dont like andrew smiths fibreglass install because it's not made of metal? (its about as contrived an example), an intercooler is impressive because you know what it means the car has, all silver mesh means is someone wanted it to stand out.

I can see what you're saying about plastic = substandard and it does mean that in most products but certain points on a car can benefit from being plastic, like fibreglass bonnets or plastic mesh for its light/non corrosive/cheap to form properties. I hadnt thought of people buying mesh as they thought plastic was cheap though, its an interesting point from my point of view (studying to be a product designer) as we often have to analyse stuff like that.

Black mesh every time.... when I had my silver mesh grille on I hated the ' LOOK AT MY IMITATION CHICKEN WIRE!' appearence, now it's black it looks subtle, which is how I think mesh should be.

This would look much better! (minus the sunstrip)

i've got a black phase 2 and am lovin black wheels but they have to be deep dish (like the pizza) with silver lip, the stealth look is just my kinda style

still stickin to my guns on the silver mesh though aslong as its the fine stuff and not the big chicken wire, it does look sporty imo, i've got some lyin about but not got round to fittin it, i might spray it a graphite colour?
