its plastic is my point! doesn't look very sporty, i take it none of you guys like skylines and gti-r's with big intercoolers either? you get nice lookin mesh you know not like that edwardian fire grill stuff, i mean the fine stuff

Intercoolers serve a purpose, mesh is for looks and it's an unneeded expense - the money (although not a lot) could go on something more useful.
