Phase 2 GTi

I was in a multi story car park today, so I just had to take a couple of pictures... I think they make a great place for pics!

Most recent update - front and rear Poly mounts in now. Makes a hell of a difference. Haven't gone for the side ones yet, not sure if I will either, feels great the way it is!

mmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Oh, and a new starter motor, so no more bumping the car! whoop!

I don't know what to do next????

hey dan, lovely motor that! lucky git :)

How many miles she done now? and how low is it down on the coilovers (speedbumps a prob?)

cheers dude!

its done 83000ish

Im not sure how much its lowered, i just did it by trial and error until I was happy. Speed bumps can be a pain, but luckily there aren't many around where I live. Having said that, JAE was a bastard! lol

Does it catch on the unknown location lol where i am lol i need to know ;)

I haven't driven it there since I put the coilovers on mate...

If I remember correctly, they are quite small speed bumps, maybe a couple of them could be tricky. But its just a case of crawling over them extremely slow! I think you would be ok...

at a guess from what mine was at, its around 60mm at the front 40mm at the rear

Yep, I'd say thats a fair assumption! As I had 40mm lowering springs on before and I don't think the rear has changed....

SHORT SHIFT NOW FITTED

I fitted my short shift the other day. It's a nice cheap mod!

Most of us know what the standard one looks like, but here it is anyway: (Very old pic)

I'm having a leather gaitor made up at the mo, so I shall post a pic of that when it is done!

Maximum Powered, an ebay shop sells excellent cold air feeds, and cheap too!

Joe bought one too so his thread will show where to install it on the N15.
