Quality!

Mate I have been trying to convince my gf to get a k10 too, just so I can piss about with it myself. But she wont even consider it. As a compromise though I managed to convince her to get a k11, at some point. It's just a matter of convincing her to buy one now and drive it in London, which she absolutely hates the thought of.

Admittedly if i was to do that project it would be a K11, but i just think it would be ace to have something like that, total sleeper! Due to the size and shape it would probably resemble go-kart like handling if really low, and with almost 150bhp it would fly!
Have you seen that red one with a DET running close to 300bhp they featured in BANZIA, embarrassed some nice cars on the strip!

That's amazing. Did you put that together yourself? Shame it only has one actual seat left! But I guess in that amount of space there's no other way.
You can swap the bed for an extra seat, it's only a 2 minute job :) I didn't put it together myself, I got it from eBay in 2005. It's been professionally done by Middlesex Motor Caravans

James, that is possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen. You just need to drop something like a KA24 in there and that would be the coolest vehicle in the world.
Time, money, space and technical knowledge are the only things I'm missing to do something like that!
As much as I'd love to!

It was designed for someone who wanted to go fishing, but rather than buy a new camper van, their son who worked for this company said they could convert the Micra. This is what i've been told anyway! lol

Ah fair play, i can see the use for that now. Just thought mainly the only people who have caravans etc are families to go on holiday.
(picture in my head)You'd look quite sad pitching up next to all the families and kids on a site with your one man micra.lol.

Unfortunately, "little bandit" is no more! :(

Dave had a big smash in it @ Knockhill, heading down the back straight towards the hairpin, (& judging by the pictures that should still be on here somewhere, he was lucky to be able to walk away from it) around the time the Banzai article appeared iirc, & now the engine & most of the salvageable parts are in a black N15 GTi.

I do kind of like the look of the K10 (I think one of my uncles or cousins had one), but those stuck-on arch things look too much like the shite `detailing stripes` you can get from Halfrauds for my liking. :O
