Robs White SRi

I know I have away for some time now...

Here is Lucy...

She's a 98 fiesta Mk4

Nothing special... just a decent daily runaround...

The interior was so bad...

Just had to change it.... so I got a Zetec S interior...

Had it until yesterday when my sisters car was broken in to... had all the electric ripped out... windows smashed... and left for dead....

So being the big brother I gave her the fiesta and went out and bought a new daily...

Bring on..... Kay....

Kay is a 2000 on a V plate... Seat Ibiza GTi...
8 valve torque machine....

Basicly a Mk3 golf rear end.... with a mk3 polo front end... and with a seat badge...

Really comfy... pretty nippy... low mileage... really like it...

Stuck my old multi spoke wheels on it... they need to be resprayed asap....
Got grooved and drilled disks green stuff pads... lowered 40mm...12 months mot 5 months tax
It's got a standard exhaust but it sounds so meaty its a great daily... and its not too bad on fuel either... done about 50 miles in it and its probably only done 1/8 of a tank... good cruiser

Got a great dash... lights up red ;)

Il get some pics up asap... it needs a good clean....

oh he sold it, lol, didnt know that,

cool then rob, just dont modify it like your golf, :)

is it petrol or diesel? you mentioned torque machine...

This is Kay... My MK2 Cupra Sport GTi...
Pictures say a thousand words...

Modifications so far...
K&N filter... will be getting a new one...
16" 15 spoke ACR alloy wheels...
Green stuff pads...
EBC drilled and grooved discs all round...
I think it might be lowered... I do plan on getting coilovers...

So what do you all think...
Apart from the fact that the wheels need to be resprayed ;)

It's the same size as an almera...
I did say at the bottom that I was planning on respraying the alloys...

It's a really comfortable, smoothe, quick and still does over 35 mpg... what more could you want for a daily.

I plan on keeping it for the next couple of years whilst I Finnish the almera...

Got to admit ... its better than the fiesta ;)

A Seat Leon is Almera sized (small car), the Ibiza is Supermini sized.

Still, looks like good choice dude :)

Unfortunately Ed they fall into the 'reliable-fun' category with Almera's. Not that small either, the Arosa is more like Seat's supermini.
