Very nice ride mate. Will look forwards to seeing it as work progresses

a lot of work done there mate, how does she compare to a normal gti now

Out of action at the minute mate...the joys of tuning :( I was driving it around without correct setup. Going back in, in a couple of weeks to be finished off and have the cams and gears installed as well, the thing i did notice was a nice torque increase, naylor will be able to confirm this. Seems to be better top end too. Hitting around 120 if you put your foot down the car keeps pulling. Not that I like to guess at these things but i think at current setup its running around 190bhp but dont quote me on that. Thats at 7psi unmapped. Be nice to see what it'll be chucking out when the cams, gears, frontmount are on and the boost is upped to 10psi....

have you got the same bottem end? that looks great mate now all you need is the rear wing off a GTIR with a little bit of chopping.

Way ahead of ya mate ;) had this in storage for about 4 months waiting to get fitted when it next goes into the bodyshop. Same bottom end though yeh. I've heard from good sources that the aluminum block is very strong.

looks sweet mate
like the custom dash bit with the TV.

Only cost 70 notes to do in the bodyshop. Its a proper VGA TFT monitor so my carpc looks sharp and not blurry like the non VGA input ones do.

Looking really good mate. Love the GTi-R vents.

I'm also in the process of a custom dash build, Can't find the time to finish it though. :(

Ooh role on the 10 psi and goodies mate, you have gotta be safe for 220 brake at the wheels :D Only fing is carn't see the big fuck of Garrett turbo

Cheers Rick....n good luck with the dash build. Be worth the job in the end to make it look unique.

Sparky I know what u mean mate, be glad when it goes back in, specially with it being just a hunk of metal on the drive at the minute :( Not much space in the bay area it's all pretty crammed in so the turbo it right down the bottom.

where have you relocated the battery to was it a big job?
lol. Knew someone would spot that. Its actually out the car so i can keep it charged mate. Sitting around for 7 weeks saps a bit of the juice. Although it has made a nice breather space so might do it at some point. Am pretty sure Kev Shek relocated his battery in his skymera so he'll have the best idea how easy it was.

I was going to point out that some bugger had nicked your battery :p

Nice looking car though :D

lookin good mate, its fast as fook now ( had me pinned in to seat  ) so i can imagine one massive grin on your face wants its all sorted ! :D

BTW what did you do with my old grill in the end?
Still got it mate.... its something i'm planning on getting done when i get the new spoiler on... really need to get it sorted soon though, basically will just be a change of mesh, but black or very dark gunmetal grey...but methinks black, then with the "P" badge off the import gti-rs.

Yeah hopefully it'll be another big grin with a new boost of power when it is. You'll have to have a drive in it mate once its sorted out.

now that is one sweet looking mota.....nice one mate.....be cool to see it in one of the future meets, once its had all its bits sorted and is running well

:)

Hahahaha...that's fu**ing rockin' mate.

Just a few things to clear up first...

What pistons are you using?
What size is your downpipe & exhaust?

Cheers

Dave
